June 23, 2013: After a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast at our hotel, we boarded the bus for our first concert at the First United Methodist Church. After much appreciation and a standing ovation from the congregation, we were rewarded with a healthy lunch provided by the church members in their social hall. We said our goodbyes and made the 4 hour bus trip to Monterey. A quick freshen up at the hotel was needed, and then we enjoyed a relaxing dinner at Chef Lee's Mandarin House. The portions were large and the food was delicious. How could we possibly thank the waitstaff but to serenade them and the other patrons with a song? Much to our surprise, our waiter provided Mrs. Jacobs with a needed relaxation break by conducting the song himself.
