California Tour Diary - July 1, 2013

July 1, 2013: We are in the final hours of our trip. We have experienced great learning, singing and sightseeing  opportunities throughout our twelve days together. Today we visited Huntington Beach where we spent time swimming in the ocean, playing in the sand and watching the surfers catch a wave or two. Tonight was dress up night for our group dinner at Buca di Beppo in the town of Redondo Beach. We said our final goodbyes to our graduating seniors and the newbies took the touring choir oath and were proclaimed veterans by Mrs. Jacobs. The new seniors also stepped up to take on their new tasks for next year.  Mrs. Jacobs proclaimed this group the best behaved of all time.  As we prepare for our 4 am departure for the airport, we promise final pictures will be posted when we return home. See you shortly back in Akron!
