Southern States Tour: Saturday June 28, 2014
We awoke to blue skies and sunshine this morning which set the mood for our beach day. After eating breakfast at the hotel we were off to Bradley Beach on Hilton Head Island. What a wonderful beach with fine white sand, warm water and a nice breeze. This fanily beach provided the opportunity to sunbath, play in the sand and to safely venture out into the ocean with gentle waves and no rip currents or under tow. There was a moment of excitement when the boys screamed shark and had the rest of the choir run out of the water. Turns out it was three dolphins playing in the water. We also found a few hermit crabs which became our mascots. After the beach we had a bite to eat and headed to the hotel to relax before our evening concert. The members of the First Presbyterian Church provided us with dinner and we performed for well over a hundred audience members. As always the audience was blown away and there were many tearful eyes. Our hotel is very comfortable and we are looking forward to a good nights rest before our morning performances and bus ride to Knoxville.
