Southern States Tour: Sunday, June 29, 2014

The wheels on the bus go round and round... and the wipers go swoosh swoosh swoosh.  It was a lengthy (and sometimes stormy) bus ride from Hilton Head to Knoxville so what did many of us do after a whirlwind three performances within 15 hours? Sleep, of course!  After two quick rest stops, we arrived at our hotel to get spiffed up for our fancy dinner night at Calhoun's, a catered night of ribs, chicken, catfish, salad, southern sides, and dessert.  Thanks to our generous free will offerings at our Hilton Head performances, along with one in Norris, TN, the touring choir was able to enjoy this dinner, along with three full lunches and a stipend for lunch for many days of this tour.  Photo opportunities were offered to any who wished, and the line was long with the current seniors, class of 2015 and 2017, newbie years, and good friends.
